W.net provides opportunities through its Local Interest Network Circles (LINC) events,bringing the energy and excitement of our national networking and educational events closer to your area. W.net meetings provide a forum for professional women to inspire and empower one another through networking opportunities with established industry leaders and newcomers alike.
Event Description:
Chicago LINC's Favorite Things Expanding upon last year's July event that was such a success, W.net LINC Chicago will feature a raffle and silent auction showcasing favorite items of the Chicago LINC Leadership Committee.
This event will also feature Successful Industry Leaders offering wisdom on "The Best Advice They Ever Received”.
When: July 16th3:00 pm -5:00 pm
Networking begins at 3:00 pm
Program begins at 3:30 pm
Cost: $25 for members and $45 non-members
Sweet treats, coffee, Ice tea and the opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry
Donations: LINC Chicago will again collect donations for a local women's organization, Dress for Success. Please join us in donating gently used accessories to include such items as purses, briefcases, scarves, jewelry and the like.

April 11, Cafe Amano
On April 11, Chicago LINC held its "Spring into Gear” event at Café Amano, with guest speaker Pam Strand of Strand Fitness in Wheaton, Illinois. Pam highlighted her "seven choices” for building a strong body and a strong mind - hallmarks of a healthy and vibrant life. She shared tips for balancing the demands of personal and work life, with the goal of becoming strong, healthy, and fit. The event was very interactive. Everyone shared their challenges and goals and walked away with ideas on how to incorporate them into their own lifestyle.
In theme with the event, the book The Seven Systems of Balance: A Natural Prescription for Healthy Living in a Hectic World was raffled off that was won by Diannette Delgado, Velocity Merchant Services. Discover donated a $25 gift card for the raffle that was won by Eileen Davis, Independent Consultant.
There was also time to mingle, network and meet new friends. In the end, a great evening was had by all!!
