Held in Las Vegas in conjunction with ETA TRANSACT 2017, more than 70 women and men heard from experts about the latest research on industry parity, the features and benefits of Wnet’s two-prong Mentor Project, and, of course, reconnected with industry peers and made new contacts.

- Wnet Founder Diane Faro, CEO, JetPay was awarded ETA’s top honor—the prestigious Distinguished Payments Professional Award.
Diane is also a past president of ETA and has served as an ETA board member for the past seven years. She also holds advisory positions with both Visa and MasterCard, providing leadership direction and financial oversight focused on future payments and financial services.

Wnet’s Mary Uslander, First Data, and Theresa Gongora, TSYS and president-elect of Wnet 2018 announced the launch of its 2017 Mentor Project. The Mentor Project includes a formal mentoring program as well as the NEW Mentor-for-a-Moment component which enables Wnet members to access mentors for answers and guidance for specific situations. This two-component approach—both led by and customized to the mentee’s needs—allows members to pay it forward and move forward.
