How to Have Courageous Conversations About Identity Bias
Part of the Wnet Courageous Conversations Series
Issues of gender disparity and LGBT inequality are often discussed separately from one another, as if they are mutually exclusive. Yet research suggests that the gender bias that thwarts women’s progress also underlies discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
In the webinar, we will be exploring how to identify our biases, where they come from, how they impact society and what we can do to not fall prey to them.
After attending, participants will have:
- Toolkits to better understand our biases
- Solutions to help us overcome those biases
